  1. Junior Fair Board Applications

    Junior Fair Board applications are now available for 4-H, FFA, FCCLA, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Campfire, and Farm Bureau Youth members who are 14-18 years old as of January 1st.  If you are interested in applying please fill out the application and submit to: Seneca County Junior Fair, P.O. Box 756, Tiffin, Oh 44883 by December 1, 2017.

  2. Seneca County Scholarship Application for 4-H State Opportunities

    The scholarship application for state camps and national trips is now available for 2018. Trips vary from ages 13-19 so please make sure to read over the trip description to make sure you are eligible.  Completed applications and other materials are due to the Extension Office by 4:30 p.m. on Monday December 11, 2017.  If you have any questions please contact the Extension Office.

  3. 2018 Camp Counselor Application

    The Seneca County 4-H Camp dates for 2018 are Tuesday, June 26-Friday, June 29. Camp counselor applications are available and due to the Extension office by Monday, December 11, 2017. You must be 14 years of age by January 1, 2018 to apply.

  4. First ever fall Master Gardener Plant Sale

    Looking for something fun to do this weekend?  The Seneca County Master Gardeners will be holding their first ever fall plant sale during the Farmer's Market in Downtown Tiffin from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  There will be bulbs and plants for fall planting, applications for the upcoming training class, and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer any questions about the up coming training classes. There are still spots available for the class so get your application in today!  Applications will be available at the Farmer's Market and at the Extension Office.   

  5. Teen Workshop

    There will be a Teen Workshop on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. in the large conference room at the Extension Office.  Members who are 13 years old and older and their parents will learn about: 

    How to get involved Award trips, scholarships, and other organizations and clubs at the county, state, and national level How to improve their record keeping skills Learn more about Achievement Records

  6. 2018 Master Gardener Class Offered

    Are you interested in becoming a Master Gardener? Applications for becoming a Master Gardener will be available beginning August 1, 2017.  Applications are available to be picked up at the Seneca County Extension Office.  Packets may also be mailed to you by contacting the Extension Office at 419-447-9722, or Janet Cole, membership chair, at 567-220-7059 and leaving your name, number, and mailing address.  If you have any questions contact any Master Gardener or Janet Cole. 

  7. 9th Annual Grade A Celebration

    It's time again for the Grade A Celebration!  This year's event will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. in the Entertainment Building at the Seneca Co. Fairgrounds.  This open to all 4-H, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and FFA members who earned an "A" on at least one project.  Jr. Fair participants and advisors (4-H, FFA, and Scouts) eat for free this year!  Additonal family meals can be purchased for adults at $10.00 and kids at $5.00.  There will be door prizes, juggling, a photo booth, and pyrotechnics performed by the Ohio Burn Unit.

  8. 2017 Cloverbud Graduation

    New for 2017!  We will be holding a Cloverbud graduation ceremony!  Cloverbuds who will be eligible to be a traditional 4-H member next year will be honored on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Educational Building at the Fairgrounds.  Family and friends are invited to share in this speical ceremony.  Information forms will be sent in the mail to cloverbud members or you may print the form below.  Please return the form by Friday, July 21, 2017 to the Extension Office.  

     

  9. Camp Information and Forms

    The 2017 camp forms and information are now available.  You will not be receiving a packet in the mail this year because of some printer issues we had in the office.  By the time the printer was fixed it wouldn't allow enough time to mail out forms and have them returned in time.  Forms were sent to a few we did not have a current email address on file.  Please check your emails that was listed on your child's enrollment form for your email or click the links below.  Please print, fill out, and return these forms by June 21, 2017.

  10. 2017 Letter from Nicole and Showorks Instructions

    Showorks will be active starting May 1, 2017 for members to make livestock entries.  Nicole has included a letter to our families about the upcoming fair and instructions for Showorks entries.  All entries must be submitted on Showorks by JUNE 15, 2017.  This is for livestock entires only.  Members taking misc. projects will fill out entry forms at pre-fair judging on July 12 or 15.  If you have any questions you can contact the Jr. Fair Office 419-447-1682 or the Extension Office 419-447-9722.
