  1. 4-H Camp Registrations and Scholarships

    4-H Jr. Camp is Tuesday, June 26-Friday, June 29, 2018 at Kellys Island 4-H Camp. Camp registrations are now available and are due by Friday, June 8. Camp scholarships are due by Friday, May 18. Camp fees are $145.00 or $155.00 with a camp shirt for 4-H members and $160.00 or $170.00 with a camp shirt for non 4-H members.  If you are unable to pay the full amount, there is a $50.00 deposit required.  The remaining balance is due by June 8th.

  3. Price Family Show Pig Sales

    The 2018 sale dates for the Price Family Show Pigs have been set and are now available.  If you are taking a market hog project and looking for hogs, here are three opportunities to purchase hogs. 

    Saturday, March 17, 2018: Madison County Fairgrounds, London Ohio, 7:00 p.m.  December and early January Crossbreds will be sold. 

    Saturday, March 17, 2018: Crawford County Fairgrounds, Bucyrus Ohio, Meal and preview begin at 5:30 p.m. and auction begins at 7:00 p.m.  Late December and January Crossbreds will be sold. 

  4. 2018 Beef Ambassador Application

    Are you between the ages of 16 and 18 years old?  Are you planning on exhibiting a beef project this year?  Then the Beef Ambassador is for you!

    The Seneca County Cattlemen's Association is accepting applications for the 2018 Beef Ambassador now until March 2, 2018.  Members must be between 16 and 18 years old, exhibiting a beef project, and must be a member of the Cattlemen's Association or a parent/guardian must be an active member of the Cattlemen's.  If you are not a member you can join during the Annual banquet in March.

  6. Junior Fair Board Applications

    Junior Fair Board applications are now available for 4-H, FFA, FCCLA, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Campfire, and Farm Bureau Youth members who are 14-18 years old as of January 1st.  If you are interested in applying please fill out the application and submit to: Seneca County Junior Fair, P.O. Box 756, Tiffin, Oh 44883 by December 1, 2017.

  7. Seneca County Scholarship Application for 4-H State Opportunities

    The scholarship application for state camps and national trips is now available for 2018. Trips vary from ages 13-19 so please make sure to read over the trip description to make sure you are eligible.  Completed applications and other materials are due to the Extension Office by 4:30 p.m. on Monday December 11, 2017.  If you have any questions please contact the Extension Office.

    The Seneca County 4-H Camp dates for 2018 are Tuesday, June 26-Friday, June 29. Camp counselor applications are available and due to the Extension office by Monday, December 11, 2017. You must be 14 years of age by January 1, 2018 to apply.

  9. First ever fall Master Gardener Plant Sale

    Looking for something fun to do this weekend?  The Seneca County Master Gardeners will be holding their first ever fall plant sale during the Farmer's Market in Downtown Tiffin from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  There will be bulbs and plants for fall planting, applications for the upcoming training class, and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer any questions about the up coming training classes. There are still spots available for the class so get your application in today!  Applications will be available at the Farmer's Market and at the Extension Office.   

  10. Teen Workshop

    There will be a Teen Workshop on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. in the large conference room at the Extension Office.  Members who are 13 years old and older and their parents will learn about: 

    How to get involved Award trips, scholarships, and other organizations and clubs at the county, state, and national level How to improve their record keeping skills Learn more about Achievement Records
