  1. 2019 Family Handbook Pre-orders

    New for 2019, the 2019 Seneca County Family Handbook will be available online free of charge or families can purchase a hard copy of the handbook for a charge of $5.00.  Cash or checks made payable to OSU Extension will be accepted for orders.  If you are interested in purchasing a copy, please fill out the order form below and return with payment by Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

  2. New County Extension Educator, Agriculture and Natural Resources

    As of Monday, October 1, 2018, OSU Extension Seneca County is excited to have on board our new Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator, Hallie Williams.  This position has been vacant for some time and we are pleased she is on board.  Please see a short bio of Hallie below:

  3. Teen Workshop

    There will be a Teen Workshop on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. in the large conference room at the Extension Office.  Members who are 13 years old and older and their parents will learn about: 

    How to get involved Award trips, scholarships, and other organizations and clubs at the county, state, and national level How to improve their record keeping skills Learn more about Achievement Records

  4. 2018 Farm Science Review Tickets

    2018 Farm Science Review tickets are now on sale at the Extension Office.  Pre-sale tickets will be on sale through Monday, September 17, 2018.  Tickets are $7.00/piece.  

    Farm Science Review runs from Tuesday, September 18- Thursday, September 20 at the Molly Caren Ag Center in London Ohio.  

  5. S.T.E.M.

    S.T.E.M. Day will be held on Tuesday, August 14 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office. The registration fee is $15.

  6. Grade A Celebration

    The Grade A Celebration will be held on Sunday, August 26 at 5:00 p.m. in the Entertainment Building at the fairgrounds. All advisors and Jr. Fair exhibitors eat for free. All other meals are $10 for adults and $5 for children 1-7 years old. There will be door prizes, a silent auction, a comedian for entertainment, and more! The Grade A Celebration is also where we recognize our tenured volunteers, congratulate State Fair winners, and announce the recipients of the Golden Award. Please be sure to get your registrations turned in no later than Friday, August 17.

  7. Hog Interview and Skill-a-thon Information

    The swine department has issued a new set of Skill-a-thon and interview questions.  The links below provide the letter the department came up with to explain the questions and where to find the answers to the questions.  The other links are the questions by age group.  Swine Interviews and Skill-a-thon will take place on Thursday, July 12 starting at 5:00 p.m.  Please see the newsletter for your clubs assigned time.

  9. Cloverbud Camp

    Cloverbud Camp registrations for 2018 are now available! Registrations are due to the OSU Extension Office by Monday, June 4. Cloverbud Camp will be held at Garlo Park and Nature Preserve outside of Bloomville on Tuesday, June 12 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

  10. Goat and Sheep Tags

    Goat and Sheep weigh in and tagging is this Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Sentinel from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.  Nicole has provided the forms for the goats and sheep if you would like to fill it out before you come, click on the link below.  Forms will be available at Sentinel on May 5th as well.
