Join the Seneca County Master Gardener Volunteers to learn all about container gardening. We will be focusing on houseplants and annuals while still explaining the basics of raised beds and outdoor containers. Participants will learn how to choose their plants, choose the soil and then pot their plants. The cost for the workshop is $25 and registration is required.

Junior Leadership is hosting Officer Training on Monday, March 10 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Sentinel Career and Technology Center. Officer Training is for any newly elected officer or anyone who would like to learn more about a specific office. Participants will leave with more knowledge, resources, and tools to help them be successful in their new role.

Ohio 4-H week is March 2nd-8th. Have you or your club celebrated 4-H week? This is a great time to represent Seneca County 4-H and spread awareness about this great organization. You could wear your club and county 4-H apparel, paint windows, set up a booth, create posters and flyers, present in schools, or work with Tractor Supply Company to set up a table. These are just some ideas in which you can spread the word about 4-H.

The Seneca County 4-H Open House has been CANCELLED due to level 2 and Sentinel building being closed. The Open House is for any youth 5-18 years old and their families who are interested in learning more about the Seneca County 4-H Program and all that it has to offer.

The Seneca County Jr. Leadership Club will be hosting a Casino Night on Saturday, February 15 from 7:00-10:00 pm at the OSU Extension office. This is open to any youth 14 years old and older. The event is FREE to attend. There will be games, prizes, food, and fun!

There will be a Manure Management Workshop on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 6-8 pm at the Seneca County Fairgrounds.
Come and learn some tips and tricks of manure management for both the livestock producer and the agronomic farmer.
