  2. 4-H Camp Registration Form and Scholarship Application

    Be sure to register for Seneca County 4-H Camp at Kelleys Island June 25-28! We are 'Throwin it Back' with this year's theme and are excited for you to join in on all of the action. We will be going through times of western civilization, midieval times, vikings, and the 70's and 80's. All registrations, registration fees, and health forms are due to the Extension Office by Friday, June 7. Camp fees are $145 or $155 with a camp shirt per 4-H member and non-4-H members are $160 or $170 with a camp shirt.

  3. Food and Nutrition Clinic

    There will be a Food and Nutrition Clinic at Vanguard in Fremont on Tuesday, April 9 from 6-8 p.m. If you are taking a food and nutrition project or are interested in learning more about it, we encourage you to attend. There will be many stations that will discuss how to plan and write a menu, how to prep for meals, proper place settings, and much more.   4. Sewing Clinic

    There will be a sewing clinic on Saturday, April 13 from 9-11 a.m. at the Extension Office. Anyone is able to come regardless of if you are a beginner or advanced sewer. Come and learn more about sewing techniques and tricks and receive many resources and help. There will be various stations to choose from.   5. Jr. Fair Book Cover Contest

    The Seneca County Junior Fair is looking for your creative ideas for the 2019 Jr. Fairbook cover.  Using the Jr. Fair theme, Boots, Jeans and Ohio Dreams!, create a cover that will be on the new fairbook.  Entires should be sent to Jr. Fair Coordinator, Emily Gilliland at ekgilliland4@gmail.com or mailed to Seneca County Junior Fair, P.O. Box 756, Tiffin, Oh 44883.  The winner will be selected at the April Jr. Fair Board meeting.  

    The winner will receive a $25.00 gift card!  

  6. Summer Program Assistant

    Feb. 23, 2019

    We're hiring! The summer Program Assistant must have completed one year at a college or university and must not be a current 4-H member. The candidate will start in May and end in August. The position is for 38 hours/week and is mostly Mon-Fri 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., but will include some nights and weekends. This would include 4-H camp June 25-29, pre-fair project judging July 13, and the Seneca County Fair July 22-28. Applications are due by Monday, March 11.

  7. Officer Training

    Feb. 12, 2019

    Officer training for any newly elected officers, any potential officers, or anyone who would like to learn more about a specific office will be held on Monday, March 11 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sentinel Career and Technology Center.

  8. Junior Leadership Gaga Ball Tournament

    The Seneca County Junior Leadership Club will be hosting a gaga ball tournament at Oakley Park in Tiffin on Sunday, April 14 at 2:00 p.m. Anyone ages 13-18 can participate in the tournament. You can register as an individual, or as a team of four, or both! Drinks and snacks will be provided and there will be prizes awarded for the top two placings in both the individual and team brackets. The flyer and registration information are below.   9. New County Livestock Judging Team

    OSU Extension, Seneca County is now offering an exciting opportunity for kids 9-18 years old!   Beginning January 2019 Seneca County Extension will be starting a youth Livestock Judging Program.  This is open to kids 9-18 years old who are interested in enhancing their livestock evaluation skills, public speaking abilities, and learning more about animal science.  This experience will help refine the decision making process through making logical, rational decisions based on information gathered and improve oral communication and observation skills while traveling around Seneca County and...

    We will be closed on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 for Christmas and Tuesday, January 1 for New Year's Day.
