Miscellaneous project judging will be held at the Seneca County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, July 9th from 1-8 p.m. and Saturday, July 19th from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (for gardening projects only). Please see the letter below to register for specific times, see what building your project will be judged, and other additional important information regarding judging. Registration for specific times for judging must be made by Sunday, July 6th. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to call us at 419-447-9722. Good luck to all exhibitors!!

The Buckeye Lady Beetle Blitz is a Community Science Program that tracks the abundance and species richness of lady beetles across the state of Ohio. Unfortunately, many species of lady beetles have declined dramatically in recent decades, and we are monitoring the abundances of remaining populations.
We first conducted our survey from 2009-2015 and would like to resample lady beetle populations 10 years later to see how they have changed.

There will be a feeder calf extravaganza held on Saturday, June 28 at the fair grounds!
The show starts at 11:00 am, there will be awards, food trucks, and feed and show representatives!

The Goat Department is hosting a goat clinic on May 20, 2025 at 6:30 pm at the Seneca County Fiargounds Food Court.

The Goat Department is also holding a tshirt fundraiser to raise funds for purchasing more new pens. Orders are due July 1, 2025.

Ag Credit will be sponsoring a Pee Wee Showmanship Day for the following species: Rabbits, Poultry, Lambs, Goats, Swine, Dairy and Beef Feeders. All shows will take place July 25, 2025 from 9 am- 4pm at the Seneca County Fair.

The 2025 Cloverbud Camp will be held on Tuesday, June 24th at Meadowbrook Park in Bascom from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Cloverbud Camp is for any Seneca County 4-H Cloverbud that is 5 years old and has completed Kindergarten through second grade. Come Have a Baja Blast at Camp with our Fast Food themed Cloverbud Camp!! Please see registration and additional information below. Registrations, fees and all forms are due to the Extension office by Monday, June 9th.
