OSU Extension is hiring a 4-H Summer Assistant to assist staff with county 4-H Programming and provide general office support during the summer months. The applicant would start in May and end in August.

Requirements: The successful candidate must be a college or university student and must have completed one year of college by the time of employment. The candidate must not be a current 4-H member or a current 4-H volunteer. The candidate must possess leadership skills, organizational skills, excellent communication skills both written and oral, be self-motivated and self-directed, able to work with a variety of people, and be proficient in Microsoft programs. Previous 4-H experience and knowledge is highly desired. 

Hours: 38 hours per week, primarily 8-4:30 Mon-Fri, with some weekend and evening hours, including 4-H Camp June 15-18, Pre-Fair Judging July 17, and Seneca County Fair July 26-August 1.
