This fall is shaping up to be a busy one!  There are several events and opportunities coming up for our older 4-H members.  Check out the links below for each event and mark your calendars to attend. 

JL Career Exploration Day: Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. at the Seneca County Fairgrounds Food Court.  Open to high school kids to talk with local professionals from several different occupations about planning your career path.  All participants will be entered to win an iPad and have a chance to apply for scholarships.  

Exploring Post:  Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Miller Farm.  The first Agriculture Exploring Post will be holding a kickoff event to Explore this opportunity and Ag Careers.  This is open to students 14 and older that want to learn more about careers in AG.  This group will meet monthly and visit different businesses throughout the year.  

Teen Workshop: Monday, October 28, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office.  This is open to members 13 years old and up and their parents who want to learn more about opportunities available in the County, State, and National Levels.   

Forestry and Wildlife Camp: Friday, October 11-Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Canter's Cave 4-H Camp.  This is open to members 12-16 and cost $35 for the first 40 campers.  Any campers past the 40 mark are $77/piece.  

Carving New Ideas: November 15-17, 2019 at 4-H Camp Ohio.  Open to members who are in 8th-12th grade.  Cost is $65.00 and includes a Tshirt.  

Teen Mental Health Retreat: Saturday, October 12-Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 4-H Camp Ohio.  Open to members who are 14-18 years old.  There are only 30 spots available and the cost is $40.00.
